A-Team Corvette

Hello to everyone came across the forum and would like to let everybody know who we are. We are the people who built the cars for the TV show in the 80’s if you visit the site you will see the ORIGINAL 84 VETTE we used. I have read alot of things about this car. We recived the car from a place called vista group who suppled us the cars before we did all of the changes. Visti Group was part of GM at one time. We recived the white vette and PAINTED the RED stripe on it (it was not a sticker). We used the car on Hardcastle and Mccormick for a show(it was all white) and then used it on A-team. When the show was over the car was re-painted all white and returned to vista group. If anybody has any question on this show or others that we have done please feel free to contact us. (Quelle)

For Sale Is The One And Only Original A-Team Corvette From The TV Series 1983-1986. Here is your one chance to own a piece of American TV History. The A-Team TV show was a very popular show during the early 80’s and world wide after it went into syndication. There was only one Corvette used in the series, not like the 6 vans used and wrecked. Of the 99 episodes, the A-Team Corvette was shown in about 1/3 of all the series. This was Face’s Corvette {Dirk Benedict} although it was driven by other cast members of the A-Team Including Hannibal Smith { George Peppard} Murdock {Dwight Schultz] and others. I aquired The A-Team Corvette in 1987 one year after the series was cancelled. Included with the A-Team Corvette is a letter from Stephen J. Cannell Productions dated 1988 that this is the A-Team Corvette. Also included is a copy of the original California title, a signed gasoline cover by Stephen J. Cannell himself, the producer of the TV show, a original production jacket and a production second unit hat, 3 veichle pass cards to get on the Universal Studio lot, one signed by Stephen J. Cannell and two boxes full of A-Team collectables. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own such a unique Corvette that was seen world wide by millions of viewers on TV. If you look at the picture of the passenger door, you will notice the window moulding gasket is distorted, this is from the camera equipment when it mounted on the door during filming. I can also point out to the lucky buyer, where Mr. T jumped across the hood of the Corvette and put a scratch in the paint, this was in the series” Chopping Spree” Included in the sale of the A-Team Corvette are VHS tapes and DVD’s of just the Corvette. I had the A-Team Corvette featured in two Corvette magazines and a Corvette calendar. The A-Team Corvette is in excellent running condition, all stock just as it was seen on TV. You can see the Corvette on U-Tube by typing in A-Team Corvette. If you have any questions please e-mail me. I will be glad to answer them. I would appreciate serious buyers only. You have to make arrangements to pick up the Corvette. I will not ship but will work with you to complete the sale. Additional information can be found at A-Team 24/7 web site and click on Corvette.

Some people have asked about the overall condition of the corvette. I drain fuel from the tank every spring and fall and add fresh fuel. The last oil change was last summer with about two miles on it. I had new Goodyear tires put on at about 16,000 miles. now these tires are the correct style with the indented lettering that was for 1984 model year. In 1985 the corvette tires now had raised lettering on the tires. The tires that were on the A-Team Corvette when I purchased it were bald and very worn, I wonder why? I had the transmission fluid and filter replaced. The brake fluid drained flushed and fresh brake fluid installed.New radiator hoses with fresh antifreeze installed. I replaced the main serpentine belt also. Did it need all these things done? No! I had them all done anyway by a General Motors dealer so everything was fresh under the hood. The paint really shines as you can see the reflections from the trees. I won numerous car trophy with this corvette, not because it was the A-Team but because it was a clean 84. This corvette is always under a cover and garaged, never seen snow or much rain since I owned it. This A-Team Corvette really shines, you get a wow! factor once the cover is removed. It is a very sharp looking corvette, you will not be disappointed. I personally guarantee this to be the original A-team Corvette, not a copy or a clone.

One final note, This A-Team Corvette looks ten times better in person than it ever did on the show. When you look at it, it just grabs your eyes and its hard not to stare at it. I only cleaned the interior and outside paint, I know the historical importance of leaving things as they were when the show was cancelled, so I did not any restoration to the exterior of the vette just cleaned and polished it. I forgot to mention that Dirk Benedict signed some of the corvette calendars I was featured in 1989. He signed 5 of them, the one he signed and that is included in this sale says ( MY CAR! ) meaning his, Faces vette. Also included are the photos of Stephen J. Cannell signing the gas cover, the original document that this was the A-Team Corvette, and the Studio vehicle A-Team pass card so a vehicle could drive to the Universal Studio lot. I have more photos of the signing that will be included in the sale.

Now some words to Bob: Dear Bob, I hope you enjoy this site. We are very proud to use your pictures and informations at our website. Thank you Bob. We will never forget.
